La Maison en Pierre has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8. The house is built in the traditional French style with exposed oak beams throughout. With solid stone walls and oil-fired central heating it is cool during the summer and warm in the winter. There is parking for one car and covered parking for another two cars just 100 metres away.  |
| The traditional styled oak fitted kitchen is newly equipped with everything you could possibly need including a traditional cast iron Godin woodburning stove, fridge/freezer and split level cooker. In addition, there is an electric hand blender, microwave, toaster, electric kettle plus a new radio/CD player. The utility room has another large fridge, a new washing machine and tumble dryer. Sitting room is cosy and complete with French-channel satellite TV, CD player and radio. |

On the first floor, there are three bedrooms - one with a double bed, the other two have twin beds. There is a bathroom with shower and toilet and also a separate toilet. |

On the second floor is a good sized grenier area with a a new double futon. This space is an ideal additional sleeping area. The house also has 6 bikes in good working order, with many lovely bike rides nearby. On the bank of the river there is a separate garden and a rowing boat which is solid and flat bottomed and therefore very safe but you will undoubtedly want to supervise young children because the water in the centre of the river can be up to six metres deep. Life jackets are provided. |
